We’re Stephanie and Daniel, the owner-operators of Bangs Court.

With decades of experience in design, retail, and customer service, we set out to create a stay that surprises - design-forward and full of luxury touches you’d expect at a resort hotel. From construction to design to the final sweep of cleaning, we’ve done it all ourselves. Because we believe in true Texas hospitality and we believe in doing things slowly.

About Bangs Court

The History

Originally called Snow’s Service Station and Tourist Courts, our property was one of many gas stations along this stretch of highway 67 in the tiny town of Bangs, TX. Built in the 1940’s as a Texaco station and tourist court, it was once a roadside stop for travelers moving through small-town Texas. It’s stone and brick walls and canopy once welcomed guests looking for a fill up, a meal and a place to rest. Like many motor courts of its day, it slowly fell silent as travel patterns changed, leaving behind the bones of a once-bustling roadside landmark.

The Revival

Today, Bangs Court has been reimagined as a boutique stay that surprises. We’ve preserved its history while layering in thoughtful design, modern comfort and luxury amenities. From the heated tile floors to the Texas native landscaping around the courtyard every detail has been rebuilt by our own hands. It’s a space that blends nostalgia with refinement - proof that in a little town you may have never heard of, you can still find true hospitality done slowly and done well.
